1967 U.S. pressing of the Beach Boys "Heroes & Villains" on Brother label. Sleeve is ORIGINAL in NM condition, no fading, ring wear, seam splits or creases. Wax is PRISTINE, no fingerprints, marks, scratches & scuffs. Sat on a shelf nicely tucked away for 40+ yrs. 1st Scranton, PA pressing w/ "Ken Lockert Engineered It" misprinted on label. Matrix on dead wax reads;
Side 1 - 45-57020-G2 then has Stamped Triangle w/ IAM written inside
Side 2 - 45-57021-G4 #3 then has Stamped Triangle w/ IAM written inside
BRIEF NOTE ABOUT WAX:
This particular 45 RPM is considered *NEW* Old Back stock. It’s origins come from Golden Disc Records (239 Bleecker St.) in NYC’s Greenwich Village neighborhood. Golden Disc operated from the 1970’s until the early 1990’s. The store eventually changed hands (along with all the back stock in the basement) & became what is now known as Bleecker Street Records (which remained at the same location until moving in Sept. of 2013). The space is now a Starbucks!!!
I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a few special pieces years ago, and now I’m making them available to the public. Wax is in PRISTINE CONDITION, no marks, scuffs, scratches, & retains that new high glossy finish, unless otherwise stated
