Original 1963 Canada 45rpm pressing of "My Room & Be True To Your School (with The Honeys)" by The Beach Boys. Beautiful songs written by Brian Wilson. Rare 45, less copies were pressed in Canada than in the US. This 45 was released in 1963 and is in NM condition, great sound and super glossy. Capitol Canada sleeve is included (see photos).
About "Be True To Your School”:  The Beach Boys' school was Hawthorne High School in Hawthorne, California, where Brian Wilson, Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson and Al Jardine all went. Brian, who wrote the track, incorporated some of Hawthorne's fight song - "Scarlet and Gold" - in the middle of "Be True To Your School.” “The Honeys” sing voices of the Cheerleaders.
About "In My Room”: This is written from the perspective of a teenager who feels safe and comfortable from the world in his bedroom. Brian Wilson suffered from severe agoraphobia, and refused to leave his bedroom for a significant amount of time. He wrote this song to give people and idea of how he felt.
