Description
The vinyl is in excellent condition and plays smoothly with no skips. Playback has been checked. The jacket is in very good condition and is clean and sturdy, with a small corner cut-out notch.
This is an original 1977 pressing of The Beach Boys – Love You on Brother/Reprise Records (MSK 2258). It is a Santa Maria pressing, identified by the S1 plant markings, and features LRS-JP mastering by Joe Gastwirt.
This copy includes the original matte textured jacket, which differs from later glossy reissues, and comes with the original printed inner sleeve featuring the “Thank You” note to Brian Wilson and the “Sweet 16” party photos.
These early LRS-mastered pressings are known for their analog sound characteristics and are distinct from later reissues and modern remasters.
