This item is a first press stereo album released in 1966 on Capitol Records by The Beach Boys entitled ‘Pet Sounds’. Record label and number is DT 2458. Side 1 of the record is in VG condition with a few visible hairline marks and scuffs. When played there was a repeating audible click on areas of the song ‘That’s Not Me’ and light surface noise on ‘Don’t Talk’. There is surface noise between most of the tracks on Side 1 but no skips. Side 2 is in VG+ with a light hairline mark and a couple of very light scuffs. When played Side 2 played very nicely straight through. Record labels show little if any spindle wear (see photos). Record was cleaned on a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine. Record cover is in VG+ condition with flaws being discoloring around the outer edges of the cover probably due to age and a very slightly dented corner at the lower left (see photos). Record comes complete with its original Capitol Records paper inner sleeve. See photos for song listings. A decent copy of this classic Beach Boys album for being 52 years old and will fill a hole in your record collection until and if you can find a better copy. No reserve. Low starting bid.
