The Beach Boys – Pet Sounds, 1966 mono LP Capitol T 2458.
This is a lovely example of the mono LP Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys. It was released on the Capitol label in 1966 – T 2458. The matrix numbers are T1-2458-1 and T1-2458-1. Stamper numbers are 1 OL and 2 MH.The record is in lovely shiny EX+ condition on the first side. EX to EX+ on the second side where I can just see a couple of very faint hairline scuffs – that do not sound+. There are no markings of any kind on either label.The laminated cover is in lovely clean EX to EX+ condition. The original owner has written her name very neatly on the back just under the seam in the top left corner. She has also written her name and the title of the LP on the EMI advertising inner-sleeve. There are no finger-marks on the cover on the back where it is not laminated and no ring-wear, stickers, grazes, or other problems. The text is all perfectly clear on the spine, as there is no rubbing / feathering there.
