TRACKLISTING: The eleventh studio album by the American group released on the 16th May 1966 this was initially met with a lukewarm critical and commercial reception in the United States but received immediate success abroad. Now regarded as one of the most influential pieces in the history of popular music along side The Beatles Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band (released in 1967).
Condition
The front laminated flipback picture sleeve shows some minor wear mostly on the edges with just a few light creases to the laminate. The flipbacks are secure and the non-laminated back shows only a little evidence of age. Overall the sleeve is very good shape for its near fifty years.
The labels have a few spindle marks but are otherwise clean. The vinyl has some minor surface marks and scratches graded as good there is some noticeable deterioration in sound quality following play testing at certain intervals however it plays through without further compromise.
The first issue is notoriously difficult to find in any respectable condition with this copy most certainly in good order and worthy of filling an essential gap in any collection which is a must when it comes to this veritable masterpiece!
