The Beach Boys - PET SOUNDS 40th ANNIVERSARY 2 LP SET IN BOTH MONO & STEREO COLOURED VINYL
BRAND NEW, STILL SEALED IN CELLOPHANE WITH 40TH ANNIVERSARY STICKER
This Limited Edition from Capitol Records was issued in September 2006 and went immediately OUT OF PRINT. Only 10,000 were pressed. It's now very hard to find. The limited edition number is 1177. BRAND NEW. FACTORY SEALED (How many are left in the world still sealed?!!!)
It’s a two-LP pressing of the 1966 masterpiece.
Disc One is the exciting STEREO version and is pressed on green vinyl. Back in 1966 the album was not pressed in true stereo – only in stereo “effect”. Brian Wilson insisted that the purist sound was mono and would not allow a stereo version to be made from the master tapes. The best the record company could do was to produce a pseudo-stereo effect for their stereo version. Things have changed now and Brian has relented, allowing this true stereo version to be pressed. This is your chance to own a TRUE STEREO copy and coloured as well!
Disc Two is pressed on yellow vinyl and is the traditional mono version.
