Description
1st US press of the desirable MONO version of all-time Beach boys classic 'Pet Sounds', widely considered one of the greatest albums of all time and the best in their discography. Vinyl is clean with no spindle marks and no evidence of frequent playback. One light scratch can be seen under bright light that crosses from the middle Side A track 2 to middle of track 3 that does not affect playback. Terrific pure mono sound, which is the way the album is meant to be heard. Some light surface noise in between songs and during some quieter passages, but overall quiet during the music and nothing that obscures the music. It's not uncommon for a record that sat in a paper sleeve for 57 years to have some. NM cover is nearly perfect with no ringwear, perfect spine, intact shrink, terrific color rendering, and decent corners. Only imperfections are few minor paper age foxing spots on upper front strip and extremely small compressions on two corners- see pics.
All used records cleaned prior to shipment on my new Degritter 2 ULTRASONIC record cleaning machine. Will be shipped with archival inner sleeve to protect original printed inner, with record placed outside of the jacket to avoid seam splits and everything is contained and protected in an outer plastic sleeve. Comes from smoke-free, climate controlled home. Shipped securely in premium record mailer (Mighty Music Mailers) with corner protection to ensure safe arrival to your home.

Jacket sealed in shrink wrap; Record unplayed. Disc sold ungraded or "as is".
NM
Under bright light, appears unplayed or only played with great care and looks quite pristine/like new. Only the very finest examples make this grade.
EX
Under bright light, may have one or two slight, but visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint ‘hairline’ scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play. Overall, very clean. May play as good as a Near Mint record, but visibly has minor imperfections.
VG+
Several visible imperfections. Has seen more wear and play than the higher grades, but still overall a very nice record. May have a few more sleeve scuffs or light unfeel-able scratches, or other superficial marks than an EX-graded record.
VG
VG will show signs of improper care or frequent play and handling, and will possibly have some deeper, feel-able scratch(es) that may make audible noise upon playback. Generally meant to be either a starter copy or purchased to get a sense of sound quality of a particular pressing.
