Beach Boys - Pet Sounds - Capitol T2458 UK mono 1965
One of the finest records and pop albums ever produced, the Brian Wilson's mono mix is simply stunning and he's right there with Phil Spector. Brian is also deaf on one year, so he was able to mix stuff in mono only. I am very delighted and honoured to offer a decent copy of this all time classic for sale.
Due to the nature of the musical content, sensitivity, it's magnific texture and surface area the main concern is naturally how well the music sounds when placed on a turntable for play. I use an Ortofon stylus and with 1.75 gr tracking force, and I would grade it at least EXCELLENT (or even better). Music sounds undistorted, and there are very very if any surface noise at all.
Visually the sleeve is about EXCELLENT, with a reasonable clean backside and with light creasing on front. Opening has also been taped with a transparent taping, seems like the previous owner wanted to make the opening stronger. It's quite hard to notice, as I noticed the taping when I was inspecting it's condition. Visually the disc is about VERY GOOD, with few light marks and wear on spindle hole. It looks like it's been played, but still looks ok to the eye and fantastic to the ear.
