Description

Up for auction is the Beach Boys’ legendary “Pet Sounds” on BRAND SPANKIN’ NEW double vinyl.  Not only does this super-limited and out-of-print pressing come on glorious gold and green translucent wax, it contains the FIRST EVER TRUE STEREO MIX.  All previous stereo releases of this were re-processed “fake” mixes from the mono, but this is the real deal, mastered by Mark Linett with Brian Wilson’s seal of approval.

From the Capitol Records press release: “40th Anniversary’s commemorative double colored vinyl is limited to 10,000 numbered copies worldwide Of Which This Is #6779 . Presented in a deluxe gatefold sleeve, the album’s Mono mix on yellow vinyl is complemented by the Stereo mix on green vinyl.”  Splendid!

This record is NEW and STILL SEALED.   .  The first picture, by the way, is a stock pic; the second is of the actual record you'll get!)
