Description
Extremely rare factory sealed original pressing of "Shut Down Vol. II" (Fun, Fun, Fun) by the Beach Boys on Capitol Records (ST-2027). This is an unopened, sealed copy of the album – but it has the following minor flaws: The sleeve has a 3” long crack in the top seam (picture 3) and a 2” long crack in the bottom seam (picture 4). There is a slight discoloration in the bottom left corner on the back cover and around the breathing holes in the shrink wrap on the back cover, see photos.
This is the first USA pressing from 1964. No Gold Record Award. Top right corner of cover reads "File Under: Cars Songs - The Beach Boys, Vocal Group." RIAA #2, No barcodes, not a record club issue, no cutouts. Tight shrink with 2 breather holes on front and rear shrink. Flawless spine. The shipping costs are higher than usual, since I will ship the album insured in a 13x13x2 box with bubble wrap and extra cardboard stiffeners. Extremely hard to find album in this condition – unopened/sealed!
