Description
Beach Boys - Smile LP on green vinyl
This is an odd release, many people can't seem to agree on what exactly it is.
It recreates the original cover art and sequence that would've made the Smile album as originally intended. It's on The Sea of Tunes label, but some sources claim that it's a "fake" SoT bootleg. The actual label says Surfin' Records.
Anyway, its great to put on and just pretend that Smile actually happened in the 60s the way Brian wanted. Really cool to compare to his solo album from the 2000s. The version of "Heroes & Villains" is different from the Smiley Smile and single versions.
Another confusing piece of the Smile legacy!
