Description
This is a 1980 vinyl LP monophonic reissue copy of The Beach Boys' 1967 album Smiley Smile on Capitol Records. This was the 12th studio album from Brian Wilson and crew and was a simpler and more relaxed version of the unfinished album Smile. Although it wasn't appreciated at its release (although single "Heroes and Villains" was one of my favorite singles!), by the mid-'70s it had become a critical and cult favorite.
Dead wax: N-1-16158 H-1 #2 MASTERED BY CAPITOL JAY⊗ 0 / N-2-16158 G7 5̶ #1 MASTERED BY CAPITOL ⊗ 0 J. LeMay This is the Capitol Jacksonville pressing as indicated by the stamped "0" in the dead wax. Laquer cutter is Jay Maynard.
Album is excellent. Has been tested and vacuum cleaned. Cover is excellent as well. "The smile that you send out returns to you." Please see pictures for further condition, and feel free to ask questions!
