Five-record set of material from 1949 to 1955 when Bob Wills recorded for MGM Records. This great reissue from the *always-inspiring* Bear Family empire was produced by Richard Weize. The records are in superb condition; the box has some blemishes. But the wiewer can still appreciate the great design & rich, colorful printing of this wonderful package. Not included in this copy is the booklet, though a great deal of discographical & biographical information appears on the five individual record jackets.
COVER - VG
Some one-inch seam splits on the rim part of the box lid. Faint small stains on front. Very nice color. No writing or stickers on outsider of box. Small tear on back part of box. Beautiful yellow labels are free of stains, stickers, writing, tears, color fading or any other marks. Excellent sharp-cut spindle holes with faint transparent spindle brushings.
DISCS - NEAR MINT
Beautiful groove. Tiny scuff on Record 2, side B. Otherwise, no scratches, scuffs or flecks. Great reflective sheen. This package has been stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment.
