This description is long, so thanks for reading. Back in 1999 There were Beastie Boys collectors aplenty. All of us got enamored with the "Country Mike's Greatest Hits" promo release to friends and family and wanted to own one. Prices got crazy and we all did our best to snag a copy on black or red vinyl. As time passed a test pressing showed up on Erika Records. The rarest copy though, was an acetate from 1999. Even though the entire collecting community dug as deep as they could to uncover everything they could about this mysterious release, only one dude found an acetate. His name was Danny Trommer, aka Dochouser (on eBay), aka Beastiemuseum, aka Sir Dan. I dunno how he did it, but he found a 3-track acetate for Country Delight "Created to check the EQ Balance. It contains 3 tracks each with a different balance. Comes in a plain white sleeve". He etched his name into the run out grooves for provenance. It says sourced by sirdan or something like that. After that I got it from either Astrobboy or Beastienut, and here it is.
For the High End Collector / Track Hunter... I ripped it from a numark USB turntable with a new needle in WAV format, and I have not disseminated it. I'll provide that rip for you if you win so you can have it without having to further degrade the acetate with multiple plays.

I think it is probably the rarest record I own, all things considered. Acetate's have shown up from '98 and beyond, but they are generally non existent with the exception of dub plates by remixers. So this one ticks off all of the boxes for Beastie Boys collectors. There is only 1.
Regardless of what kind of Beastie Boys collector you are (vinyl, tracks, memorabilia, collectable, rare...) this is what I consider to be irreplaceable and the one least likely to ever be available again. Ultra nerdy collectors of all types rejoice, and bid accordingly.
