This is the Japan promo presssing of Licensed To Ill from 1986 in a Gatefold Sleeve. Photo's are of the actual item for sale.
Of interest for collectors... Two different variations of this PROMO version have surfaced. One variation has Japanese characters for "Promo Only" / "Not For Sale" printed on the vinyl label. The other variation has the the "promo only" characters stamped on both sides of the vinyl label. This is the version with the characters actually printed on the vinyl labels. It includes the Sample sticker on the back cover. It is a Gate Fold sleeve, and includes 2 inserts. The first insert is a two page fold out exclusive to Japan (with liner notes/lyrics and Japanese translation). The second insert is a one page photo insert printed on both sides with Def Jam logo printed on back.
I bought this from a Japan seller who insisted that the Orange OBI was not included in the original Promo release, but have not been able to confirm. Nonetheless this has no OBI.
There is a faded / partially peeled sticker in the top right corner of the front sleeve (see photos). The only other condition issue are the odd brownish markiings on the bottom right of the front sleeve (clearly visible if you zoom in on the Main Photo).
