Description

This is the Hong Kong pressing of Licensed To Ill from 1986 in a Gatefold Sleeve. I've only seen 4 copies of this ever up for sale. Photo's are of the actual item for sale, and it is in better condition than the copy I intend to keep. It is complete with the insert. There was never an OBI for this release. It has been confused often for the Japan release (which is also a rare find).

This is the type of rarity that creates conversation. It's a centerpiece. This is the only release from the Beastie Boys that has ever been found issued from Hong Kong.

For anyone unfamiliar with how I list items, it's usually just the going rate online with at cost shipping. I'm doing the same on this auction, with the exception that I can't list it below what I know it's actual value to be for the right buyer. The buy it now price is what I would pay for it right now. No conniving, no upping the final sale value, just a straight honest evaluation of its worth.
