Description
Up for sale today is an original true 1st pressing of the Beastie Boys album "Licensed To ILL". This album is the original Def Jam masterdisk release catalog # FC 40238. The vinyl is Mint- and has the faintest hairline at the end of "fight for your right", otherwise it's perfectly Mint! The album cover is Mint- as well with the 2 faint creasings. The record is housed in the original black Def Jam inner sleeve and looks awesome with full lustre. Side 1 deadwax: 45667-A, AL-40238-1A G4 with the possible rare inscription "Get Off His Bick 666" ( the letter "D" was made into a "B" and the 3 6's are in a triangle pattern). Side 2 deadwax: 45567-B, BL-40238-1A G3 with inscription " Watch Your Back". I am not sure if any other 1st pressings had these inscriptions or not but I thought it was a pretty neat find. Without a doubt this will always be regarded as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time.
