"Beatlemania!" is a compilation album by The Beatles that was exclusively released in Canada in 1964. This album is significant as it showcases the unique way in which the Beatles' music was packaged and presented to audiences outside of the United Kingdom and the United States during the height of Beatlemania. The album is a testament to the band's global appeal and the strategies used by record companies to capitalize on their popularity. "Beatlemania!" was released by Capitol Records, the Beatles' North American label, which had a different release strategy for Canada compared to the United States. This album is one of several Canadian-only releases that differed from the American and British albums of the time. It was designed to capitalize on the Beatles' massive popularity in Canada, where fans were starting to become eager for any new material from the band.
The copy for sale in this listing is a strong example in truly NM condition. This is one of the cleanest copies of this album that I have ever come across. Near Mint (NM or M-)
The record has been played but looks almost new. There may be one or two extremely light paper scuffs that do not affect play. The sleeve has minimal wear, if any.
Excellent (EX or E)
The record shows minimal signs of having been played. There might be light paper scuffs or minor non-feelable surface marks that do not affect play. The sleeve has some slight wear but is still very nice.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
The record may have a few more light scratches or scuffs that do not affect play significantly. There might be some light background noise during quiet passages. The sleeve will have more obvious wear, but no major tears or seam splits.
Very Good (VG)
The record has been played a lot. There will be noticeable surface scratches and scuffs, which may cause some surface noise or occasional pops. The sleeve will have significant wear, ring wear, or writing.
Good Plus (G+)
The record has significant surface noise and may have visible scratches that affect play. Groove wear will be evident, and there may be light skips or repetitive ticks. The sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom, and other obvious damage.
Good (G)
The record is heavily worn and may skip or have significant surface noise. It is still playable but not enjoyable due to the condition. The sleeve will have major seam splits, tape, writing, or heavy ring wear.
Fair (F)
The record is badly worn and may be played for its label or as a collector's item. It will skip a lot and have significant surface noise. The sleeve will be heavily damaged and may be in pieces.
Poor (P)
The record is in unplayable condition, possibly warped, cracked, or broken, and is only of use as a collector's item. The sleeve may be completely split or missing.
