Description
What you should know: Beatlemania! With The Beatles was released in Canada November 25th 1963 just 3 days after the UK release of With The Beatles. It holds the distinction of being the very first Beatles album released in North America, preceding both Vee-Jay's Introducing The Beatles (1/10/64) and Capitol's Meet The Beatles (1/20/64). The phrase "Litho in Canada" runs vertically along the lower right edge of the front cover. This LP was originally issued only in mono (Rainbow Label), but was later released in stereophonic some years later. Unlike Vee-Jay and Capitol in the U.S. it did not delete any songs from the British album. Thus Canadian buyers got all 14 songs. Special Note: This copy is a 1st pressing and has the cover of "You Really Got A Hold On Me" misspelled, it reads " You Really Gotta Hold On Me" and was later corrected or the extra "t" was blacked out. An excellent one for your collection. RARE!! The Record and Sleeve are in VG+ Condition!
