Description
THE BEATLES - 'THE BEATLES' CHRISTMAS RECORD'
UK 1963 UK FAN-CLUB FLEXI-DISC
Due to overwhelming demand, supplies of the yellow gatefold picture-sleeve/newsletter quickly ran-out and many members has to be content with the disc only and a letter of apology from the fan-club.
This 1-sided 33 1/3rpm flexi disc was sent out to UK fan-club members in December 1963 and is on the Lyntone label: LYN 492
It contains humorous messages, songs & seasonal greetings from each member of the group.
Matrix number: LYN 492-1U
Complete with an original mailing envelope dated '19 Dec' (year not legible)
Also present is the original plain white cover.
CONDITION
Labels: MINT
Clean, white and totally blemish-free.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
The playing surface is perfectly clean and flat with no creases, bends or damage and are free from any scuffs, marks or scratches. A few pin-head sized blemishes in the material itself can be see directly beneath halogen light which is usual for this media.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This disc has been extremely well looked after and has clearly been barely, if ever played. The sound is unworn throughout with no damage to the delicate grooves in either channel. There is an inevitable touch of light background but no clicks, pops, jumps or any other such fault.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on an EMT 950 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
