Description

THE BEATLES - 'PANTOMIME - EVERYWHERE IT'S CHRISTMAS'

This was the fourth and arguably the strongest of their specially record Christmas flexi-discs.It was recorded on 25th November 1966 in the basement studio of Dick James Music at 71, New Oxford Street, London featured a specially written 'Pantomime' and was mailed out to UK Fan Club members only in December 1966.

This EXCELLENT example of this 1-sided, 33 1/3rpm flexi-disc is on the gold & white LYNTONE label: LYN 1145

The disc is housed inside a Paul McCartney designed picture cover.

N.B. The newsletter is NOT present with this copy.

CONDITION

Disc

Labels: MINT

Clean white and totally unblemished.

Visual: EXCELLENT

The playing surface is clean & unworn with no bends or creases. Close inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals a little more than one or two light stylus hairlines and a few sleeve removal marks, but nothing major.

Play: EXCELLENT

This copy has received just a few careful plays and is without any major deterioration to the sound quality. Due to the nature of the disc's material, some light background is audible throughout but not enough, in my opinion, to spoil the enjoyment.

Cover: EXCELLENT -

A strong and vibrant example with several light scratches from storage on the front panel and a small bend towards the lower spine but no heavy creasing or wear. The rear panel bears a few small stains but is free from any writing or missing paper.

**PLEASE NOTE: This item is located in and will be shipped from AUSTRIA. 1st class international postage to UK addresses will be 5 GBP**
