Description

Welcome to 20th Century Collectables

Quality vinyl for the discerning collector

The Beatles Something/Come Together UK 1st pressing 45 RPM single, dating to the original release date of 31st October 1969.

One of the greatest Beatles songs there is, penned by George Harrison and recorded in July of 1969. By the time this single had been released The Beatles had all but split up.

Of all Beatles single releases ‘Something’ is one of the more difficult ones to find. This copy is a genuine unplayed copy which has never been on a record deck. So it really doesn’t get any better.

From an investment perspective genuine unplayed Beatles records are the holy grail of collecting. As such they are destined to attract the highest premiums and accelerate in value.

Happy bidding and good luck!

CONDITION

Disc

Visual:  UNPLAYED / MINT-

Mint in strong daylight under a halogen desklight nothing much more is revealed other than ultra faint paper sleeve removal marks.

Labels: UNPLAYED / MINT-

Unblemished and factory fresh as if it was pressed yesterday

Audio: UNPLAYED

It is clear that if I had elected to play the record some pressure would have been needed to push the centre hole onto the spindle which may have disturbed some of the residue of plastic and paper around the centre hole. On balance it is better to preserve the integrity of this unplayed vinyl and so it remains unplayed. From a close visual inspection there is nothing to suggest that the record would have anything other than a mint audio.
