Description
Beatles 1st press OZ LP Beatles for sale VG+ 65 PCSO3062 Black/Silver Parlophone
Original 1st Press OZ LP released in 1965 on the Black & Silver parlophone Records label. Cat: PCSO 3062.
It was inevitable that the constant grind of touring, writing, promoting, and recording would grate on the Beatles, but the weariness of Beatles for Sale comes as something of a shock. Only five months before, the group released the joyous A Hard Day's Night. Now, they sound beaten, worn, and, in Lennon's case, bitter and self-loathing. His opening trilogy ("No Reply," "I'm a Loser," "Baby's in Black") is the darkest sequence on any Beatles record, setting the tone for the album.
Tracks : No reply/ I’m a loser/ Baby’s in black/ Rock and roll music/ I’ll follow the sun/ Mr. Moonlight/ Kansas city/ Eight days a week/ Words of love/ Honey don’t/ Every little thing/ I don’t want to spoil the party/ What you’re doing/ Everybody’s trying to be my baby.
There are a some light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some crackles in parts and is in VG+ condition. Cover with back flaps has some ring wear, age marks, light marks, some writing on front top right corner and some small tears along spine and is in VG+ condition.
