Description
Beatles 2LP "AT THE SAM HOUSTON COLOSSEUM". (Beware of FAKES!).
Audifon Records - STEREO. Recorded on August 19, 1965; both Afternoon Concert (12 Songs) and Evening Concert (12 Songs).
This is RARE "BEATLE" material, rapidly vanishing from today's collector's market. These are remote in-line recordings from the Sam Houston Colosseum for both concerts on the date listed above. Produced by Richard Loren (Houston), Remote Recording by KILT, Inc., with Final Mixdown and Sequencing Production by Josef V. Kreutzkamp, Re-mix engineer: Peter Buehnen, Mastered by Musikverlag Labs (Berlin), Cover design by MAK Productions.
VINYLS are in EXCELLENT condition and are on the ORIGINAL LABEL (BEWARE OF FAKES). If they are NOT on the label shown here, they are NOT ORIGINAL. Outer Jacket is Not Split and there is No Writing. (kind of flimsy; but overall not bad condition considering the material they are made from which is unlike the rigid cardboard we are used to here in the USA).
Jacket Front has a picture of the BEATLES in what appears to be a photo session (with ROBERT WHITTAKER) of the BUTCHER COVER version of "YESTERDAY and TODAY". He also was the photographer who shot the famous back cover of the "REVOLVER" album.
The Back photo is by the photographer DEZO HOFFMAN who also shot many BEATLE covers including the famous cover photo for the album "INTRODUCING ... THE BEATLES".
A Great BEATLES collectible!
