READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles 2-LP 1971 White Album LA Apple Pressing in Shrink, Complete STUNNING NM!

Many rare Beatles albums still in shrink listed this week. 

Vinyl--- EX/ NM/ NM/ NM.  All four sides reflect like brand new.  Side 1 has just a few scant and very faint lines that you’ll have to look for to find.  Gorgeous vinyl!

Plates--- H70/ H69, H77/ H70.  Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy pressed in Los Angeles.

Cover--- VG+.  90% brand-new white cover, still in the shrink.  There is some light to moderate foxing down the mouth, where the shrink is open on both sides.  Bottom left corner has a small crunch that has damaged the white slick.  See photos.  Otherwise, this is a brilliant-white cover.  Original price sticker still affixed.

Breathe Holes--- There are two breathe holes on the front cover.  One is below “The BEATLES” and to the right.  The other is due west, about ¾ down from the top.

Labels--- NM.  Bright and clean as the day they were pressed.  Beautiful labels.

Poster--- VG+.  Poster does show some light signs of handling. Very light finger divots, barely any yellowing and NO SPLITS.

Photos--- Excellent.  All four photos look extremely well-cared for, or not handled very much.  The only exception is that they all seem to have ONE light finger divot in the same place on each photo.

Capitol Inner Sleeves--- VG+.  Generic white sleeves with die-cut holes for the labels to show through.  NO SPLITS.

RIAA: N/A.

A brilliant set!

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
