Description
Beatles 2nd state butcher 1966 Lp "Yesterday and Today" Mono T2553 Peel Me!
A rather interesting example of this classic Beatles rarity. It looks to me like some previous owner started a peel and then gave it up after peeling a bit of the front cover, see lower right of the front cover. I'm thinking somebody who knows the proper technique could get a pretty good cover if they finished the peel. Cover does have some issues, lower left corner has some mild water warpage, there is a sticker on the back, thank you Maggie. But the edges are all intact so that is good. Please look at the pictures and judge for yourself, ask questions if you care to. I wish I knew how to peel this I would love to have a butcher picture of my own.
Vinyl is pretty decent, both sides play through without skips or loud pops, visually I see a couple faint hairlines and paper scuffs here and there but nothing that causes problems with record play. Labels are nice. I'm thinking the record makes a solid VG maybe VG+ no problem.
Thank you for checking out my sale. I am a record collector myself and realize we all want to know just what we are buying so we can pay a fair price. I have described this record as best I can without writing a book. If you need more details please ask before buying and I will be happy to provide more information. I’m not a record store just a guy who looked up one day and found 30,000 records on the shelf and figure I better get to selling them. If I state I think the record is a certain grade this is my opinion based on Goldmine criteria. I am not a record dealer or a professional grader so I try to be very conservative. But with that in mind please check the pictures and form your own opinion, it may be different than mine. Neither one of us wants to hassle through a return over a hypertechnicality.
If you do buy the record and there is some problem please contact me immediately and I will resolve any issue. Records will be sent either USPS First Class or Media Mail and sent only to your confirmed ebay\paypal address. Purchases on Friday will be mailed Monday as our post office is unavailable on the weekends.
