Beatles EP "4 by 4" (Capitol Records 5365) with Picture Cover Sleeve.
This EP was released in 1965 and was 1 of only 2 EP's The Beatles officially released in the USA.
Cover is graded as VG+ (see grading below) with minor sporadic wear. One side has old price written in ink, but nothing else. Other side is clean. Also, importantly, there are NO seam splits or stains on this cover.
Vinyl is still glossy. I grade it VG-. Has 1 visible mark across the "Mr Moonlight/Everybody's Trying" side. I played both sides and they play with no skips, some crackle and pops, but the music and voices are very clear and not overwhelmed by the background noise.
The "Moonlight" side of the Capitol swirl label has a 1/2" "50" written in ink on it. The other side is clean. Both labels show evidence of some wear along the raised areas.
Also, the "Moonlight" label is off center with the song title almost completely cut out by the center hole.
Please examine the supersized pics closely & read the grading scale below before bidding. Feel free to ask me any questions about the item.
Shipping cost given is for USA ONLY.
Overseas bidders MUST e-mail me for actual shipping cost to their country BEFORE bidding, or I will remove the bid. All customs, etc. costs are the overseas winner's responsibility.
Record & Cover Grading
SS = new, still sealed
M- = record in unplayed condition. Cover close to perfect with only very minor signs of wear or age.
EX = record has slightly visible minor scuffs, but NO Scratches. Will not distract significantly from the sound. Cover may have very slight wear, or wear at corners or edges, but nothing that detracts from the artwork. Nice collectible condition.
VG+ = vinyl still has great luster; record shows wear and surface scuffs. Flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye. There may be a few ticks or pops, but nothing major. A virtually clean cover, but may have Very small writing, staple holes or price sticker or residue on it, but NOT in artwork. Artwork is clean, but with slightly more aging. No stains or water damage.
VG = overall record wear, but no skips or serious defects; more noisy sound during quiet passages. Cover may have tears or seam splits or moderate ring wear or writing.
G = various snaps, crackles and pops on record, but No skips. Heavy ring wear on cover. May have taped seams, moderate to heavy writing on cover or label. Artwork has writing or sticker, etc.
P = Poor condition. Heavy wear, skips on record. Cover with heavy ring wear, tears, etc. Will fill collection until something better comes along. Record can still be used for display purposes.
