Beatles 45 Hello Goodbye Absolute Toughest Apple Variation, “Mfd. By” Both Sides!
I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…
Unconfirmed Apple label variation for the longest time, this variation was created in the very late summer of 1975, just prior to the “All Rights Reserved” label variation.
These backdrops were prepared for the “All Rights Reserved” disclaimer to be printed later, however; a very limited number of copies of the whole catalogue was issued without it.
Issued only from the Los Angeles plant, these copies were only in the stores until October, 1975 when the disclaimer was added to these backdrop labels. The only title I’ve not yet confirmed is “Slow Down.”
"I Am the Walrus" is a different stereo mix than the one found on the "Magical Mystery Tour" LP. Ringo's drums drop out of the song after each "I'm crying" phrase, which is weird.
Sleeve: Excellent company Apple sleeve. Just a small amount of missing black gloss on side 2 at one side seam. Otherwise, this sleeve is NM gorgeous. NO SPLITS.
A generic white sleeve will be provided to protect your company sleeve during shipping.
Vinyl: NM/NM. Store stock brand new.
Labels: NM/NM. Store stock brand new.
Plates: G10/F12. Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy pressed in Los Angeles.
**There are not many of these around. Test it for yourself by searching eBay AND the Completed Listings for another copy!
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
Note: All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

(Please note: Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized. The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle. Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix? Thanks!)
