Description

Beatles 45 "KOMM GIB MIR DEINE HAND / HOW DO YOU DO IT".  Swan Label #S-4197. ("I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND" in German).
Issued in May 1964.  Vinyl itself is EXCEPTIONAL.  This German tune was recorded and influenced by there many visits to Hamburg, Germany between 1961 and 1964.
The B-Side (HOW DO YOU DO IT) was eventually recorded by FREDDY AND THE DREAMERS during the same period during the BRITISH INVASION.  If nothing else, this is a most interesting piece and has been said from time to time, that the BEATLES never officially made this recording and that it may not have been an official SWAN release. In any event it is great to listen to and a BEATLE collectible from an era when the FAB 4 were in their prime!
