Beatles 45 & Pic Sleeve 1965 Ticket to Ride/Yes It Is VG+ Sleeve EX Vinyl!

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

These picture sleeves always make great Christmas gifts for your Beatles collector .

One of the harder-to-find sleeves, this set is certainly keeper status.  Be aware that this title has been showing up with less frequency for reasonable money within the last few years.  People want a lot if you look it up, so if you still need a decent one, don’t forego a bid.

Picture Sleeve:  Strong VG.  Some would grade it VG+ and they wouldn’t be wrong.

The main issue is that it has a moderate amount of finger divots, both sides.  Some wrinkling at the top edge, not bad, though.  Certainly NO TEARS, which is the downfall of picture sleeves.

Light dirtwear and record outdent, both sides.  NO SEAM SPLITS, which is the downfall of picture sleeves.

A Company Capitol sleeve will be provided to protect your Picture Sleeve sleeve during shipping.

Vinyl: EX/EX.  Side 1 looks very nearly unplayed.  Side 2 has two light needle marks near the lip of the playing surface.  Otherwise, it also looks nearly unplayed.

Labels: EX/EX.  Almost 1965-brand new looking.  A couple very light scratches.  Side 2 label has some manufacturer’s marks where gloss bubbles had popped during manufacture.

Plates: P5/P5.  This 45 is a consignment pressing from the Decca plant.  Matrix numbers are machine-stamped in a straight line with fancy early 1960’s font.

Great set for your Beatles collector’s library!  An even better Christmas gift is to get them both picture sleeves up for auction this week.  They’re both the rarer consignment pressings, hard to complete!

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
