Description
Here's an item I didn't know existed until today when I dug it out of a record bin in Leslie, Arkansas. It's a promo record from radio station K-NUZ in Houston, TX from 1965 titled: A K-NUZ Souvenir "Buddy in Britain" A CHAT WITH THE BEATLES. After conducting a little research, I found out Buddy (McGregor), a DJ at K-NUZ in Houston traveled to England to interview The Beatles just prior to them coming to the United States to preform in Houston at the Astrodome. From what I gather, the Fab Four had just wrapped up filming their second feature film, "HELP," when the interview took place. I test played it on my great stereo system and it plays beautifully. It's not NM, but it is close. The Beatles are in a great mood and having a fun time eating popsicles while joking around with Buddy. The flip side is Buddy's interview with Cilla Black.
There's no writing on the label, but there is a little tearing. I don't believe it's a deal breaker. These records were handed out by the radio station to listeners. It was not played over the air. The sleeve is a craft paper sleeve.
THIS IS A DOMESTIC SALE ONLY. NO OVERSEAS BIDDERS, PLEASE.
