Beatles 45 Roll Over Beethoven Red Target w Prototype Capitol Sleeve! VG++
I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…
Apart from the green swirl issue of 1965, this coupling was not intended for the U.S. market.
Sleeve is an early design for the Target labels that went unissued in the States. My research hasn’t been able to find any Canadian sleeves for the Target 45 label variation besides those sleeves with the large Target logo on one side and that strange cartoon body with all four of their heads on the other.
Sleeve: Prototype Capitol sleeve is only in VG condition. Features the blue Capitol target to the left side of the window, and no additional text that lists the Capitol factories in the U.S. In fact, there is no additional text at all. The top edge of the sleeve has a much wider flat-cut. Otherwise, the assembly construction is the same.

There is a tear at the top of the label window, and multiple wrinkles on both sides. Light dirtwear to side 1.
A generic white sleeve will be provided to protect your company prototype Capitol Target sleeve during shipping.
Vinyl: Side 1 is VG++, almost looks NM. Side 2 is VG+, due to a small patch of short, light scratches and a stray angel hair or two.
Labels: Both labels are NM. Has the white dot in the Capitol target.
Plates: H10/ H10. Jacksonville copy has the letter "O" machine-stamped in the dead wax on both sides.
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
Note: All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

(Please note: Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized. The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle. Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix? Thanks!)
