Description
Beatles 45 "SIE LIEBT DICH (She Loves You) / I'LL GET YOU". Swan "Glossy" White Label with RED print. ("SHE LOVES YOU" in German). RARE! Swan catalog # S-4182.
No QUOTATION MARKS around song title indicating that this is a legitimate copy. Any that have QUOTATION MARKS are BOOTLEGS!
It is important to note that the words "VIRTUE STUDIO" can be found in the trail off area of the vinyl giving collectors the knowledge that this is not a bootlegged copy. I have tried to take photos of the trail off areas, however I am not a professional photographer and my camera is not capable of zooming in that close with any kind of clarity. However please be assured with 100% confidence that these words do appear there.
The A-Side label reads DON'T DROP OUT. The time of the recording is just below at 2:18. On the left side of the label are the words GIL MUSIC CORP. with BMI under that. The song title SIE LIEBT DICH is on one line and the English translation (SHE LOVES YOU) is on a line just below and is NOT in quotes which normally would signify a bootleg. Thin printing style font. This particular version was pressed in May 1964 by RCA. As a special note, there is a small drill hole on the right side (A-Side) which could have originally indicated that a radio station used it as a promo.
The B-Side label is for I'LL GET YOU. On the upper left are the words DON'T DROP OUT. On the right side below the checkered wave is the time of 2:04. On the left side below the checkered wave are the words NORTHERN MUSIC LTD., ASCAP.
This was issued in May 1964. The Vinyl (with only a very light marks) is VERY CLEAN on both sides retaining much of its original high gloss appearance.
AS AN ADDED BONUS: I am throwing in (AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE) a known bootlegged copy of the German version of I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND. I know its a fake, but it is an actual recording and very cool to have both GERMAN hits although this one was only released officially on the Beatles LP "SOMETHING NEW".
