Beatles 45 We Can Work It Out 1969 Red Target Nice Little Double-Stamped Labels

PLEASE NOTE: Due to Thanksgiving being on Thursday, and being that my local library (where I print shipping labels) is closed this Thursday through Sunday, I will ship on Monday and Wednesday next week.  Payments made to me by 11:30am on Wednesday morning will ship Wednesday afternoon.  Payments made after that will have to wait until the following Monday for shipment.  –Ta!

First variation of the red Target label without the defining white dot.  These were in the shops for a very small period of time in the late 60’s.  This copy has double-stamped labels.

There were two label variations used by Scranton.  The first one had very small text with the title on one line, also used by Los Angeles. The other was this label, which was a straight transfer of the font and layout from the original 1965 issue.  Since the smaller font was used by both coasts, this one is a little harder to find.

And so is the 1969 Red Target variation.

Sleeve:  Company Capitol sleeve is in VG+ condition.  NO SPLITS.

A generic white sleeve will be provided to protect your company sleeve during shipping.

Vinyl: EX/ EX.  95% original shine.  A very few light scratches to each side.  Beautiful piece.

Labels: NM/ NM.  See photos.

Plates: F1/ G2.  Machine-stamped triangle with the letters, “IAM” inside it makes this copy pressed by Scranton.

These labels are showing up less and less frequently nowadays in favor of younger sellers under the impression that the original labels in VG- condition are rarer than some of these reissues.  It’s a good idea to start buying these up when you see them.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)

Check out my other auctions for more hard-to-find vinyl!
