These items are from my personal collection, accumulated over a 55-year period. This lot contains both records and sleeves. The sleeves have been stored without the records since my purchase at the time of their initial release (single owner). Records and sleeves are visually graded, by me, based on Goldmine grading standards. I try to grade conservatively. Note that eBay limits the number of lines in the description, so some of my gradings may be abbreviated from my usual detail. The most noticable defects impacting my grading are mentioned. If you have questions about condition, you must ask prior to bidding.
The Beatles - This Boy/All My Loving (Canada, Reissue, Record/Picture Sleeve, Capitol 72144). Sleeve is graded VG+, with some wrinkling. Record is graded Excellent, with cleanable fingerprints/dust.
The Beatles - Help!/I'm Down (UK, Reissue (I think), Record/Picture Sleeve, Parlophone, R 5305). Sleeve is graded Excellent to M-. Record is graded Excellent, with a couple minor scuffs and cleanable fingerprints/dust.
The Beatles - Help! Open End Interview '65 (US, Record/Picture Sleeve/Interview Insert, RARE, Promo issued in conjunction with 1990 release of Perry Cox/Joe Lindsay 3rd Edition "The Beatles Price Guide for American Records", Cicadelic Records, Cicadelic/BIOdisc 002). Sleeve is graded Excellent. Insert is graded Mint. Record is graded VG+ due to scratch across A-side. Record was never played, so this must have happened during manufacture/distribution.
The Beatles - Got to Get You Into My Life/Helter Skelter (US, Record/Picture Sleeve, Capitol, 4274). Sleeve is graded VG due to moderate inner-label scuffing on one side. Record is graded Excellent, with a couple of light scratches and cleanable blemishes.
The Beatles - Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da/Julia (US, Record/Picture Sleeve, Stamped No. 103589, Capitol, 4347). Sleeve is graded G due to inner-label scuffs on both sides (see photos). Record is graded Excellent.
The Beatles - Sgt Pepper's Lonely.../A Day in the Life (US, Record/Picture Sleeve, Capitol, 4612). Sleeve is graded VG+ with light inner-label scuffing. Record is graded Excellent.
The Beatles - Movie Medley/I'm Happy Just to Dance With You (US, Record/Picture Sleeve, Capitol, B-5107). Sleeve is graded M-. There are 2 copies of the record. Both are graded Excellent.
The Beatles - I Want to Hold Your Hand/I Saw Her Standing There (US, 20th Anniversary Reissue, Record/Picture Sleeve, Poly Bag with Sticker (see photo) and UPC code, Capitol, 5112). Sleeve is graded M-. Record is graded Excellent.
The Beatles - Love Me Do/P.S. I Love You (US, 20th Anniversary Reissue, Record/Picture Sleeve, Capitol, B-5189). Sleeve is graded VG+ due to wrinkle along top edge and inner-ring scuff on back of sleeve. Record is graded Excellent.
The Beatles - Baby, It's You EP (US, Record/Picture Sleeve, Apple/Capitol). Sleeve is graded VG+ due to some light wrinkling. Record is graded Excellent.
The Beatles - Free As a Bird/Christmas Time (US, Record/Picture Sleeve, Apple/Capitol). Sleeve is graded VG+ due to some outer-ring "presence". Record is graded VG+ due to a couple (cleanable?) blemishes on Side A. Otherwise, Excellent.
The Beatles - Real Love/Baby's In Black (US, Record/Picture Sleeve, Apple/Capitol). Sleeve is graded VG+ due to some moderate creasing on the right side front. Record is graded M-.
The auction starting price is set to primarily cover postage and insurance. I believe in the free market system. My main interest is in getting these items into the hands of a serious collector. The law of supply and demand will take care of the rest.
