Beatles 7-Lot Apple 45’s 1975 “All Rights Reserved” Labels

The Ballad of John and Yoko/Old Brown Shoe---As anyone who has tried to complete their “All Rights Reserved” catalogue will attest, this one is amongst the toughest ones to find in any condition.  This one is beautiful.  LA pressing.  A-side looks nearly unplayed under normal room light.  Under a bare bulb, a few stray lines appear that you will have to experiment with tilts toward and away from your light source to locate.  B-side has two very soft lines visible under normal room lighting.  I shined the bare bulb directly onto them in the photos to force them to stand up in the light.  But they don’t look nearly this sharp in person.

I’ll Cry Instead/ I’m Happy Just to Dance With You---Very scarce Jacksonville pressing.  This is the only title confirmed in the “All Rights Reserved” catalogue, which was pressed in limited quantity without the serrations around the label.  Some Jax pressings have them, and all LA pressings have them.  This copy is one of the few that doesn’t.  Both sides have extremely light scratches on them with the majority of their shine still intact, landing perfectly within the VG+ range.  Some would call it VG++.  No “Mfd. By Apple Records, Inc.” on the B-side label.  These are VERY hard to find, as most 45’s from this label variation have it on both sides!

Something/Come Together---Scarcer Jacksonville pressing.  Both sides have light scratches, and plenty of shine.  B-side label has the name, “Chris” written on it.  See photo.  No “Mfd. By Apple Records, Inc.” on the B-side label.  These are VERY hard to find, as most 45’s from this label variation have it on both sides!

Help!/I’m Down---LA pressing.  Both sides are VG, which doesn’t mean VB!  Might could use a good cleaning.  Lots of high gloss there, but also light to moderate hairlines on both sides.

And I Love Her/If I Fell---LA pressing.  Very high gloss to both sides, as well as a few light angel hairs.  Mostly a new-looking 45.

Strawberry Fields Forever/Penny Lane---LA pressing.  Would be a beautiful VG++ 45, except that the A-side has what looks like a manufacturer’s heat defect.  It’s pretty slight, but it does create some surface noise in quiet passages.  One soft and small mark.  Otherwise, the 45 looks brand new.  B-side has no defects, and has only scant extremely light lines under a bare bulb.  Very good-looking disc.

I Want to Hold Your Hand/I Saw Her Standing There---LA pressing.  Both sides have light to moderate amounts of tiny hairlines on them.  A strong VG.  SO close to VG+.  Not a bad copy at all, just not NM.

All 45’s come with their Apple sleeves in solid VG condition.

With the exception of the “Come Together” label having been written on, all other labels are NM beautiful!

(Please note that due to time constraints, I have had to stop play-testing my vinyl.  However, I am happy to by request.  As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
