The Beatles- A Collection of Beatles Oldies - Original Mono Reel-to-Reel Recording


This is an original reel-to-reel tape dating from (I think) 1966... in its original box.


As to what state it is in, I cannot say... when was the last time I saw a reel-to-reel player - let alone had one to play anything on?!!! The tape appears to be in good order, but magnetic tape was never known for its longevity and this is now over 50 years old!! I cannot guarantee that it'll play without flaws - as its an original mono recording, I'm guessing that the sound quality was never fabulous!


Take a look at the photos to help assess the condition - the box is looking a little dog eared with the odd split/tear but essentially it is sound.


I'm no expert in these matters - hence if you have any questions feel free to ask - but I'm guessing that these must be quite rare now!


The tape was given to me by my Uncle back in the 1980's - he would have been mid teens in 1964 so I'm certain that it dates back to then (or very close to it!)
