This is the Rare 1969 original UK Pressing Final issue on the Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, of this  Beatles - Compilation Album.What makes this issue so rare is that it was only produced for approx 3 months  from the end of the summer 1969 till the begining of November 1969   !  The  initial 1st Presses were on the yellow parlophone label with '' sold in uk....... '' text  and are very common due to high sales but the 69 variant labels are incredibley hard to find  !  Impossibly rare pressing which you  NEVER SEE !!!  This little gem is complete with the correct issued Garrod & Lofthouse cover without stereo logo.

Do not under estimate  the rarity of this pressing !!! just try and find another , you find many Mono and Stereo pressing on the initial yellow parlophone label with the ''sold in uk......'' text but you will struggle to find this variant.

A COLLECTION OF BEATLES OLDIES   

Initialy released on December 9th 1966 this was the first UK compilation album that was approved by the band even though they  had no input and were not happy about it ! Compilations had been released officialy and un-officialy in many countries but as christmas was coming , the band hadn't completed anything for release , hence the reason for this lp ! All the tracks had been released in some form in the UK apart from ' Bad Boy' , which was out in the U.S . Oddly  their first 2 hits ' Love me do' and ' Please Please me ' were not included but does included many chart hit single releases plus more. A great compilation album with some interesting mixes and edits.

This is the correct Garrod & Lofthouse tri-flapped cover without the stereo logo printed on the front .Very clean and bright example with nothing more to fault than a small retail sticker attached to the rear panel.The front panel still retains a bright,glossy laminate with vibrant colour with no creasing or bubbles.The corners are all in sharp,square shape and the spine is solid in perfect form with nothing more to fault than a little fading in the text.All rear flaps are intact and clean with no wear and the opening edge is true and razor sharp with no rips or feathering.This really is a suberb example  ( see-pics ) EXCELLENT PLUS  CONDITION !

VINYL

Both sides have a rich glossy shine with clear deep grooves and nothing more noticable than one light fingernail rub line on side 2 .Both sides play through with clear ,vibrant sound with barely any distractions.Allthough this has been played it still retains a great sound and nice looks. ( see-pics ) Visualy EXCELLENT MINUS  CONDITION and Audibly EXCELLENT  CONDITION
