Parlogram is delighted to have been commissioned to sell one of the largest collection of Beatles vinyl to come onto the market for many years.

This once-in-a-lifetime collection comprises over 2,000 LPs, 1,000 45s/EPs & many box sets from virtually every country/territory where Beatles records were released.

All records will be sold exclusively on Ebay in auction format only (no 'Buy It Now' offers please) and WITHOUT RESERVE.

Due to the number of discs listed each week, gradings are visual only. However we are happy to provide audio grades on request.

We begin 2014 with part 1 of the Japanese LPs - arguably some of their finest sounding pressings



THE BEATLES - 'A COLLECTION OF OLDIES'
This 1st Japanese RED VINYL stereo pressing dates from initial February 1967 release with black & silver Odeon labels: OP-8016

Matrix numbers: YEX 619 1S  25 & YEX 620 1S 33

Vinyl weight: 149g

Housed within a heavy card stock cover with '2,000 YEN' price on the rear panel, complete with 4-page lyric sheet & original inner-sleeve


CONDITION

Disc: VERY GOOD

Both playing surfaces are clean with light surface wear but no heavy marks or scratches either side.

Cover: VERY GOOD -

Firm & heavy with light to moderate storagewear. The upper seam has split almost completely along the upper edge and there is a small one from the lower right corner. There is also some foxing to the rear panel but the spine is intact and readable.

Lyric sheet: VERY GOOD

Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD
