THE BEATLES - 'A COLLECTION BEATLES OLDIES'
This flawless sounding UK 1st MONO pressing dates from initial December 1966 release & contains all the original hit 45 mixes.
The disc has standard black & yellow Parlophone labels: PMC 7016
Both of which include the 'Sold in UK....' text & 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.
Matrix numbers: XEX 619-1G & XEX 620-1G
Stamper codes: 5/GPO & 3/GDG
Vinyl weight: 149g
Housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover, with original black & white EMI advertising inner.

A spectacularly clean & unworn set with just two or three faint, well-aimed spindle trails around each completely unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine, factory-fresh playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight with just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines from inner-sleeve insertion visible on close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this immaculate copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: MINT
This flawless sounding disc has received just one or two careful plays at most on top-quality equipment only and the sound quality throughout is 'as new' and wonderful throughout. My play-check detected absolutely no audible faults or wear of any description on or between any of these historic tracks.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A respectable example of this vibrant cover which retains a clean, unscratched high-gloss front panel laminate bearing just four small 'thumbnails' towards its opening edge. The exposed rear panel displays some light age-related blemishes but no writing or missing paper. There is a slight 2cm stress to the lower seam but no wear to the upper one.
The spine is clean & fully worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with some moderate age-toning to the paper but no writing, seam splits or tears.
