 THE BEATLES - 'A COLLECTION OF BEATLES OLDIES'


This fine sounding UK stereo pressing dates from 1968 and uses the same cutting as the 1966 1st pressing.

Both sides bear the final version of the yellow & black Parlophone labels: PCS. 7016

Each label includes the 'Sold in UK...' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.


Matrix numbers: YEX 619-1G & YEX 620-1G

Stamper codes: 2/MR & 4/MD

Vinyl weight: 141g


Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover, WITHOUT a front 'stereo' indicator.

Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

A fine set bearing no more than a handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Factory-fresh playing surfaces which are 'as new' in strong daylight with just one or two very faint wispy paper marks beneath halogen light.

Audio: NEAR MINT

Looks as it sounds with super-clean & clear sound quality free from any faults or distractions.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A vivid & vibrant example with an unworn high-gloss front laminate bearing just a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle. 
There is a touch of shelfwear to the corners but none to either opening edge and the rear panel is free from any writing or missing paper.
Both seams & the spine are fully intact.
