Description
The Beatles 'A Hard Days Night' UK first pressing in MONO(the superior mix for early Beatles). The sound here is as the Beatles intended and it is a powerful listen! Bought this many years ago from a lady in England who sold purses. She never played the LP much and put it away. The vinyl is in beautiful near mint condition!
Specifics:
Matrix: Side 1: XEX 481-3N Side 2: XEX 482-3N
Visual: Near mint! The thick vinyl shines beautifully and is very clean. Only a few surface marks and no deep scratches. The Yellow/Black Parlophone label is in excellent shape. KT Tax code on label.
Play: Recent playback on Thorens TD 165 turntable yielded beautiful results. Like the 'With The Beatles' LP I have listed, it also plays as if you just brought it home from a record store in 1964! So many copies were played or scratched to death and have intruding surface noise. Not this one. A keeper copy that you will be happy with!
Outer sleeve: Original Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents Pending flipback sleeve is in excellent shape for such a delicate sleeve. The back still has plenty of white! Some brown ageing but still in nice shape. Initials in ink at lower right hand corner. The spine is in excellent shape! LP housed is plastic Japanese resealable outer sleeve to avoid further wear.
Inner sleeve: Original Emitex in excellent condtion. LP housed in newer anti-static inner sleeve.
Finally: As an audiophile I have attempted to disclose everything of significance for this great LP which comes from my personal collection. If you want an original Parlophone UK first pressing that sounds superb, well then, here you go!
