PLEASE READ GRADING SCALES AT VERY BOTTOM OF PAGE!
Second Album 1964 Capitol T-2080 MONO *(PIC 4 surface)* DISC - VG+ a hint of constant static throughout playback, a few very light angel hairs, some width long, a very acceptable mono copy. Labels have spindle wear, and drags on label / COVER = GOOD top and bottom spines taped back together, title legible partially legible with some tape. Some fade but mostly clean artwork.
Something New 1964 Capitol T-2108 MONO *(PIC 5 surface)* DISC - VG with some light constant static, crackles, and faintly audible "pop"s. Not loud enough to lower to VG-/G+. Still a great copy, booming bass and drums. Louder press than other mono copies. / COVER = GOOD the entire title spine was split and taped back together. Light ring wear. Acceptable cover images.
Beatles IV 4 - 1965 Capitol T-2358 MONO *(PIC 6 surface)* DISC - VG+ with a hint of constant static through playback. A couple louder audible "pop"s on intro wax to side 1, immediately mellows out before track starts. Several light angel hair, some width long, a few needle drags. Some moderate groove wear. Booming loud press. / COVER = VG-/G+ with chipping and fray to edges, spines. Title spine mostly legible with heavy chip splits, mostly intact. Yellowing and fade. NO TAPE on this one!
A Hard Day's Night Soundtrack -1964 United Artists UAL-3366 MONO *(PIC 7 surface)* DISC = VG a few scrape sounds and some constant faint static throughout, a few audible "pop' sounds. Mostly bold and clean. / COVER = VG with heavy spine fray, spine 95% intact, many creases, art mostly decent. *Original press with mistake "I Cry Instead" on cover and labels**
HELP Soundtrack - 1965 Capitol MAS-2386 MONO *(PIC 8 surface)* DISC = VG-/G+ mostly bold sound, some light to moderate static and constant random "pop"s throughout, some tracks had more hairline scratches and therefore cause more "pop"s. Each side on the last track, there is one super deep heavily worn groove. There will be some very heavy static for about 5 seconds each side, as the needle goes past. Side 2 track 4 has some heavy constant "pop"s throughout. Overall very acceptable and bold sound / COVER = VG-/G+ with top spine split about 5 inches from insert side, taped back together. Light yellowing, heavy creases. Title spine legible. Original MONO gatefold. Name written on back cover. **VERY RARE Original MONO Rainbow Label*** EVEN RARER = Original SCRANTON mono press with "I AM" stamped inside a triangle. Very rare, best sound quality.
Yesterday and Today - 1966 Capitol ST-2553 Stereo *(PIC 9 surface)* DISC = VG with a few audible "pop"s some constant static throughout, close to VG-/G+ but most tracks played clean. A few louder "pop"s but minimal / COVER = FAIR - both top and bottom spines are split the whole length of cover, and taped back together. Larger marker writing on cover. Title spine legible. Some masking tape, stains etc.
Rubber Soul - 1965 Capitol T-2442 MONO *(PIC 10 surface)* DISC = VG-/G+ with some louder audible "pop"s less static throughout than a GOOD copy. The surface of this record is pretty scratchy, but these original DEEP GROOVE mono presses can play through anything, I swear! Still has some light constant static noise throughout playback / COVER = POOR - heavy glue residue from masking tape holding spines together, then peeled off from age. Whole top and bottom spine are split whole length and re-taped together. Heavy creases, fade, yellowing. POOR is worse than FAIR. **Very rare original first press with "The Beatles" not written on label, instead McCartney Lennon, Harrison Starr)****
Magical Mystery Tour - 1967 Capitol SMAL-2835 Stereo *(PIC 11 surface)* DISC = GOOD with many louder "pop"s throughout playback, varying degrees of static noise, from moderate to heavy static. Still enjoyable bold sound, many scratches to surface. Constant background noise, from mild to heavy / COVER = GOOD whole top and bottom spines are split the whole length of the cover and taped back together. Most of the 24 page booklet is missing, two pages left intact. Fade, ring wear, stains. Title spine legible.
Hey Jude - 1970 APPLE / EMI SW-385 Stereo *(PIC 12 surface)* *BELL SOUND sf* stampers - DISC = GOOD with several louder "pop"s per side, some varying degrees of static, from light to heavy. Still has very bold sound, but constant background noise. Still acceptable copy. / COVER = VG-/G+ with heavy ring wear and fade, many creases. About 5 inches of top spine are split and hung back together. Heavy chipping and spine fray to edges. Title is barely legible. Original cover with green apple on back.

DISC GRADE CHART:
NM (NEAR MINT) with a couple or less light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some extremely minor groove wear from play. Almost all of original luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very very light (minimal) background noise throughout playback with mostly clean bold audio. Some very minor occasional faint crackles, if any at all. Basically just opened out of shrink wrap. I hardly ever had this grade out, unless record truly deserves it. All other ebayers who claim NM, really have a EX(VG++) copy or less. Seriously only 3% or less of all vintage vinyl ever produced is still this clean!
EX(VG++) with just a few light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some minimal groove wear from repeat play. Most of the luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very light background noise throughout playback with mostly clean bold audio. Some occasional faint crackles, but mostly super clean!
VG+ with several light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some moderate groove wear from repeat play. Some of the luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very light static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Some occasional faint crackles, but mostly bold audio! There may be some faintly audible ?pop?s.
VG = with many numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some moderate groove wear from repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are mostly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant light background noise throughout playback with mostly bold audio. Some occasional faint crackles, and possibly several audible "pop"s.
VG-/G+ = with many many numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some abusive needle drags and larger more pronounced scratches. Some heavy groove wear from repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are worn or slightly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant louder static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Faint crackles, and audible "pop"s throughout, still has bold sound. Not terribly overpowering of music.
GOOD = with many many numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some very abusive needle drags and even larger more pronounced scratches. Some very heavy groove wear from repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are worn or slightly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant louder static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Louder crackles, and "pop"s throughout, still has bold sound. Not terribly overpowering of music.
FAIR = with thousands of numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some very abusive needle drags and even larger more pronounced scratches. Some very heavy groove wear from repeat play, abused repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are worn or slightly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant much louder static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Constant louder crackles, and "pop"s throughout, still has bold sound. Music maybe overpowered by background noise during some or all tracks. Close to the scrape heap, but still has some life.

All spines are partially intact with shelf wear fray, title spine barely legible, or not at all, with some fray patches and wear. Some variance of these conditions, see individual listings. Could have writing on cover. ** Most of my grades in this category are for heavy splits to edges, usually less than 90% of spines are intact. In this case most are taped back together.
