Description

An original 1964 1sth press on Parlophone - in Stereo a really hard find. Matrix 1/1. .. with recording 1st pub. Heavy slab of vinyl and comes housed in an original stereo cover with exposed flips.... Emitex inner too..
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In very nice condition having seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few light  markings - nothing heavy/nasty. On side 2 - expect some bag-rashing....this is visible but in no way effects or touches the audio...I'll reiterate...visible to the naked eye...but zero effect on audio.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly Excellent level of playback with one deviation per side.  A nice clean player by and large --  Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with good clarity. Clean feed even into the fussy numbers. A bit of light presence in one brief spot per side. A couple of ticks in the first track on side 2 and then once again a bit later. But by and large very solid and appealing. Particularly for this sought after format.
Cover (Vg+)... Beautifully preserved cover with pristine front.. Clean and flat front without creasing or surface wear. the rear has largely avoided ageing which is quite unusual. Minimal edge wear.... Spine is 90% intact...Two inch wear-through in the middle of the top edge. I have repaired it neatly with tape...minor cosmetic issue. Text all readable...Overall the cover retains very good rigidity.
