Description

The Beatles A Hard Days Night Black and Yellow Parlophone Mono with Gramophone rims from around 1967 and with the rare Times New Roman (TNR) font style. You don't often find this font style on a Beatles record!

PMC 1230 and still with "sold in the uk etc" but with P. 1964 on the label.

I have just replayed this disc and it sounds lovely, there is just the very slightest hint of hiss (may still be static) on the run in and the odd pop but no skips or repeats. The vinyl to side one has a deep sheen to it, likewise side 2 but there is the odd small fingernail mark which doesn't sound or feel. I would grade the record EX, possibly EX+.

The labels too are lovely with KT embossed on side 1.

Stampers are ALO 2 and APD 7!!!

The cover is the original mid mono logo'd G+L 3 flapped issue. The front panel has a nice shine to it, the opening edge is a little dog eared worn with use and the bottom has some shelf wear. The corners do have some bumps. The rear panel is all intact but there is a sticker removal mark (not on the text) 3cm  x 1.5cm which has left some glue residue, the flaps being straight and true. I would grade the cover VG+. 

A very nice rare label variation.
