Description
On offer is an original 1964 MONO LP titled - A Hard Day's Night, by the Beatles.
Label: Parlophone (Yellow/Black label).
Cat No: PMC 1230.
The record is in overall Excellent (EX) condition. It has the perimeter rim copyright text - 'THE PARLOPHONE CO LTD' and 'SOLD IN UK' above and 'KT' purchase tax code embossed either side of the spindle hole. It comes housed in the generic 'emitex' inner sleeve. The stamped matrix / runouts are (A side) XEX 481 3N & (B side) XEX 482 3N.
The laminated Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve has minor damage (dinks) to the corner tips and there is an 8 cm (approx) split from storage to the middle of the top edge. (See photos) This does not spoil the overall effect of the sleeve and is such a shame as the spine remains intact and readable. Other than the edge split the sleeve would also be in excellent (EX) condition.
