Description
The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night
(Parlophone PMC 1230 UK LP 1964)
This is a UK original UK Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve (Garrod & Lofthouse) which has a mid-sized "Mono" on the front. It comes with its original tracing-paper lined "Emitex" company inner sleeve. This is in VG+ condition & has no seam splits.
The record has yellow & black Parlophone labels. They have "The Parlophone Co...", "Recording First..." & "Sold in UK.." texts. "KT" is stamped around the spindle hole on Side 1's label.
The matrix numbers, & mother stampers, are as follows:
Side 1: XEX 481-3N (M 1)
Side 2: XEX 482-3N (GT 1)
A genuine UK 1st pressing with the earliest matrix numbers & mother stampers. These are quite rare.
Sleeve: There is a small number sticker on the rear, & a small name which has been neatly written on the rear also. There is some light fading to the rear as well. VG+ condition.
Vinyl: There is some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, and a four light, but quite long, hairline marks. VG condition. The labels are very clean & show very mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall, & Excellent in some places. There is some light, or very light, crackle in some quieter places.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
