The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night
(Parlophone PMC 1230 UK LP 1964)
This is a UK original UK Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve (Garrod & Lofthouse) which has a mid-sized "Mono" on the front. It comes with its original tracing-paper lined "Emitex" company inner sleeve. This is in Very Near EX condition & has no seam splits.
The record has yellow & black Parlophone labels. They have "The Parlophone Co...", "Recording First..." & "Sold in UK.." texts. "MT" is stamped around the spindle hole on Side 2's label.
The matrix numbers, & mother stampers, are as follows:
Side 1: XEX 481-3N (GHM 5)
Side 2: XEX 482-3N (GPR 2)
Sleeve: There is some light rubbing wear to the sleeve opening & one corner tip. Otherwise very light wear only. NEAR EX condition.
Vinyl: There is some mild to more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, and a very few light hairline marks. VG condition. There is a very small initial on one label. Otherwise the labels are very clean and show mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall, & Excellent in some places. Very well indeed.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.50 to £7.75 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.25 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £30. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
