Original Super Rare 1964 UK Stereo Pressing w/ Chubby Font Labels
Not many of these were pressed as the later style labels came quickly. It's said that this is one of the least pressed versions of the original Beatles Stereo LPs

The vinyl is only in Good condition. There is clearly a lot of wear and tear, the surfaces of both sides of the record are completely littered with scuffs, scratches and more hairlines than you can count, the spindle hole on both sides of the labels looks severely worn and it looks as if it weren't properly stored. Despite that and beyond all the odds, this LP actually still plays alright. The record still lies nice and flat with no skips or jumps anywhere on my system and the cutting is very loud and confident enough to the point where a lot of the surface noise is drowned out by the music. The record plays a LOT better than it looks, but it still is far from perfect and there very much is crackle present in the playback.
Comes with it's original cover, a 1964 first issue cover with the medium sized "stereo" indicator and it's in Poor condition. You can see from the photos how worn down it is, there's a huge seam split going all the way along the bottom and huge amounts of wear all over. It was originally taped up when I received it but the tape had dried up and was peeling away, pulling off some small parts of the front with it. The condition of the cover easily matches up with that of the record, it's just a miracle that the record can still be played.
Unfortunately the original Emitex inner is gone, it comes with a generic paper inner sleeve that has a seam split.
Despite the huge amounts of wear, this record's sound quality is still pretty good and although it won't be for the discriminating audiophile it could still serve as a nice collection filler. I normally don't sell records that are in this poor of a condition but it's a rare pressing and I think it should go to a nice home.
